What is halcy?

halcy is a private daily photo journal for iPhone and Android. You take one photo a day with the live camera, and over time your calendar fills into a visual memoir of your life.

How does a one-photo-a-day journal work?

Each day you keep one moment, taken live in the app, with an optional short note. You can retake today’s photo until midnight. After that, the day is kept just as it was.

Can I add photos from my camera roll?

No. Every photo in halcy is taken live, so each one is truly from its day.

What happens if I miss a day?

That day stays empty, and you can’t fill it in later. Once a month, an anchor can hold your streak over a single missed day.

Who can see my photos?

Only you. There’s no feed, no followers and no public profile. You can share any day yourself as a story card, and nothing is ever posted for you.

Is halcy free?

Yes. halcy is free, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscription.

Does halcy work offline?

Yes, for today’s moment. It saves instantly and uploads when you’re back online.
